Famed British sidecar makers and Royal Enfield dealers Watsonian-Squire are due to host a special event at their Cotswolds site when Jacqui Furneaux and Gordon May will be sharing their experiences of riding around the world.

They have both travelled tens of thousands of miles on Royal Enfields, giving them a unique insight into these remarkable machines, and experienced riding in many exotic and challenging environments.


For RE fans, this will no doubt prove to be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a fascinating conversation with two extraordinary motorcyclists.

Hosted in Watsonian’s showroom from 2-4pm on Monday, March 11, the event is free. Simply send an email to Watsonian to let them know you’re attending so they can ensure there is plenty of seating available. Upon arrival you will receive a voucher worth £5 to spend in Mr Watson’s Cafe, before the event start.


Royal Enfield’s resident historian Gordon May possesses unparalleled knowledge of the brand. With over thirty years of experience in classic motorcycles, he has extensively toured India and Nepal, authoring books about his travels and passion for the brand.


Jacqui Furneaux is a name synonymous with the iconic Royal Enfield Bullet. For seven years, her trusty Bullet 500 was her faithful companion on an incredible world tour. And even today, back in the UK, she remains devoted to her beloved bike, using it for her daily rides. Jacqui’s life on the road and her wealth of travel experiences make her a captivating storyteller, sure to enthral anyone who enjoys a good adventure.
