Yamaha has announced two further new models that will join the 2024 line-up.

Firstly there’s the new Ténéré 700 Explore which is set to further expand the appeal of this amazing machine.

Aimed at the rider who is planning an adventure with more gentle terrain as their priority, the new Explore version comes equipped with a larger screen and pannier carrier frame fitted as standard, allowing the rider to choose to purchase either the soft or hard side case option. The specification includes lowered suspension and a reduced seat height to make manoeuvrability easier and it even features a quickshifter – always a welcome addition for pillion riders as it reduces movement on gear changes to give passengers a smoother ride.

The second model announcement is for the new RayZR scooter which joins Yamaha’s MOVE segment as a lightweight, entry-level 125cc fully automatic Urban Mobility machine. The RayZR will provide affordability for riders looking for a value-for-money machine with reliability, simplicity and a sporty look but still with many of the latest features like the electrical Power Assist system to boost acceleration.

Weighing in at only 99kg – making it Yamaha’s lightest scooter – RayZR will prove an agile performer in busy urban traffic and features an underseat storage space that can accommodate a helmet or shopping bag. The RayZR’s eco-friendly Start & Stop system automatically shuts off the engine when the scooter comes to a stop at traffic lights or junctions, improving fuel consumption by up to four per cent – and the innovative new Smart Motor generator ensures ultra-quiet engine starts.

Both the Ténéré 700 Explore and the RayZR are now live on the YMUK website where full details and specifications can be found.
